Creative thinking
for the human side of work
How do you use your own creativity when AI can increasingly do the thinking for you?
AI can generate ideas, analyse information, suggest solutions and produce answers in seconds. But that does not make human creativity less important. It makes the distinctly human part more important: asking better questions, seeing what others miss, changing perspective, making choices, giving meaning and deciding what actually matters.
At THE ARK OF, I focus on the power of human creativity. These are not AI trainings. They are one-day programs about how to use yourself more effectively in a world full of increasingly powerful tools.
Choose the program that fits your challenge:
MORE POSSIBLE, MORE POWER Personal development: expand your sense of what is possible.
SAME TEAM, DIFFERENT PATTERN Team development: break patterns and create new possibilities together.
OUT OF THE BOX LEADERSHIP Personal leadership: see more, choose consciously and create movement.
Small groups. One day. No PowerPoint marathon. Lots of thinking, doing, looking differently. And a healthy amount of fun.
NOTE: working language Dutch, English on request.

Program 1
More possible, more power
We are often quicker to see what cannot be done than what might be possible. A situation seems to offer only two options. A decision feels inevitable. A familiar obstacle becomes a fact. And before we know it, we are operating inside a set of limitations that may be much less fixed than we think. This one-day program is about creating more mental and practical space. You will explore how assumptions shape the way you see a situation, how to distinguish real obstacles from perceived ones, and how changing your perspective can reveal possibilities you had not considered before. AI provides an interesting backdrop: when technology can generate more and more possibilities for us, the valuable human skill is not simply producing more ideas. It is knowing which questions to ask, what matters, what is actually possible — and what you choose to do with it. A day for people who are curious, open-minded and ready to look at familiar things slightly differently.

Program 2
Same team, different pattern
Every team develops patterns. People acquire roles. Meetings start to run in familiar ways. Certain ideas are welcomed; others are dismissed before they are fully explored. And phrases like “that won't work here” can gradually become unwritten rules. But a pattern is not necessarily a problem. The question is whether your team still chooses it. SAME TEAM, DIFFERENT PATTERN is a one-day team program about recognising the patterns that shape how you work together — and discovering what becomes possible when you deliberately step outside them. We look at roles, assumptions, team myths, unwritten rules and different perspectives. Not to analyse the team endlessly, but to create enough distance to see what is really happening and experiment with doing something differently. The approach: change the angle, question the obvious, take something familiar out of context and see what happens. The goal is not to become a completely different team by 4 p.m. It is to leave with more possibilities, more awareness of your collective patterns and a few concrete ways to change them.

Program 3
Out of the box leadership
Personal leadership when the answers are everywhere. Leadership is often associated with having the answer, making the decision and knowing where to go. But what happens when there are more answers than ever and when AI can generate ten possible solutions before you have finished explaining the problem? OUT OF THE BOX LEADERSHIP is a one-day program about the human side of leadership: how you look, how you choose, what assumptions you bring into a situation and how much room you create for possibilities, for yourself and for others. A good leader does not always need to have the best answer. A good leader knows how to open up a situation, see it from more than one position, recognise what the situation actually needs and then choose a direction. We approach leadership with an focus on the power of human creativity: changing perspective, questioning the frame, experimenting before you know exactly how something will turn out, and learning to notice what others may not yet see. AI is part of the context, not the subject. This is a demanding but playful day for professionals and leaders who want to become more conscious of the instrument they bring to every situation: themselves.
